Efforts to include cricket in the 2028 Olympics intensified
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has stepped up efforts to include cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
A working committee has been formed for the inclusion of cricket in the Olympics. According to the ICC, the inclusion of cricket in the 2028 Olympics will also satisfy cricket fans in the United States. Cricket has been included in the 2022 Commonwealth Games. According to the ICC, cricket was once included in the Olympics in 1900. Incorporating cricket into the Olympics will benefit the Games.
"We are confident that cricket will be a good addition to the Olympics. We are working hard to make cricket a part of the Olympics in the 2028 Games," said ICC chairman Greg Barclay.
